BHOPAL: At least five people lost their lives, and two others were rescued after a tragic soil collapse occurred during the construction of a gram panchayat well in Madhya Pradesh's Panna district, officials confirmed on Tuesday.

The accident took place in Nayapurwa village, situated under the Ajaygarh Development Block. The well was being constructed as part of a local government initiative to improve water access in the region. The collapse happened suddenly, trapping several workers under the debris.
Rescue Operations
