Congress Leader Brutally Attacked in Karnataka Town
In a shocking incident of political violence, senior Congress leader Gopalakrishna Nayak was brutally stabbed by a gang of assailants in Ankola town on Wednesday morning. The attack, which occurred as Nayak was exiting a local salon, has sent ripples through the political landscape of Karnataka.

The assailants, numbering six individuals, launched a vicious knife attack on Nayak, inflicting multiple stab wounds to his stomach and head. At approximately the Majali check post, a border town situated between Karwar and Goa, police successfully detained four of the accused individuals. The suspects were traveling in a taxi toward Goa at the time of their apprehension, having abandoned the original vehicle used in the attack.
