BJP Leader and Community Figure Sathish M Prabhu Dies in Mangaluru
Sathish M Prabhu, the Dakshina Kannada district spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 60. The veteran political figure, who was actively involved in numerous social and religious organizations, leaves behind his mother, wife, and son.

Prabhu served as a trustee of the Sri Venkataramana Temple on Car Street and held several key positions within the BJP and affiliated groups. His roles included:
- Former president of the Mangaluru City South block unit of the BJP
- Vice-president of the Sarvajanika Ganeshotsava Samiti at Sangha Niketan
- Office bearer of the BJP Yuva Morcha
- Member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad
