Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Calls for Hindu Vigilance and Unity

In a significant address on Monday, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay appealed to the Hindu community to remain alert and foster unity beyond political lines. Speaking from Hyderabad, he emphasized the need to counter what he described as 'anti-Hindu' policies, asserting his stance as a Hindu despite his ministerial role.

Criticism of Congress Government and Police Actions

Sanjay launched a sharp critique against the Congress government, alleging that several temples were damaged during its tenure. He condemned police actions against BJP protests, labeling them as unjust. The minister inaugurated training classes under the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay campaign at the Kamareddy district centre and visited the BJP district office to reinforce party activities.

Visit to Banswada and Media Address

Later, Sanjay traveled to Banswada to meet with families affected by recent incidents. After interacting with them, he addressed the media, mounting a strong attack on the Congress government and AICC leader Rahul Gandhi. He demanded that Gandhi visit the Banjara Hills Peddamma temple and Secunderabad's Mutyalamma temple to address alleged attacks on Hindu places of worship.

Allegations Against Rahul Gandhi and State Government

On the Banswada issue, Sanjay called on Rahul Gandhi to meet the families of those arrested, accusing the detentions of being "unjust and illegal." He also questioned Gandhi's Hyderabad visit, alleging that the state government's appeasement of AIMIM had sparked public anger, leading to the postponement of GHMC elections. Sanjay reiterated his commitment to protecting Hindu interests and holding the Congress accountable for its policies.
