AIADMK Leader Edappadi K Palaniswami Kicks Off Intensive Campaign Tour in Tamil Nadu

In a significant political move, AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami is set to embark on a rigorous campaign trail across eight crucial assembly constituencies in Tiruvallur and Chengalpattu districts. This campaign, scheduled from February 21 to 26, forms a vital part of his ambitious state-wide programme titled 'Makkalai Kappom, Thamizhagathai Meetpom', which translates to 'We will save people, retrieve Tamil Nadu'.

Detailed Campaign Itinerary and Strategic Stops

According to an official party statement, Palaniswami will resume his extensive campaign efforts in Ambattur, located within AIADMK's Tiruvallur south district, on February 21. The following day, February 22, he is slated to visit Madhavaram and Ponneri, which fall under the Tiruvallur east and Tiruvallur north district units, respectively.

On February 25, the AIADMK leader will conduct important meetings in Maduravoyal and Poonamallee. This will be followed by strategic campaign stops in Tambaram and Pallavaram, both situated in the Chengalpattu west district, on February 26. Notably, ahead of this intensive campaign launch, Palaniswami will also campaign in the Bhavanisagar constituency in Erode district on February 15 (Sunday), setting the stage for the upcoming electoral battle.

Mobilization Efforts and Alliance Support

To ensure maximum impact and turnout, district secretaries and senior functionaries of the AIADMK have been explicitly instructed to mobilize cadres in large numbers for these events. Furthermore, supporters from alliance partners are expected to join these gatherings to extend their robust support to Palaniswami, who is projected as the alliance's chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming assembly election.

This campaign initiative underscores Palaniswami's commitment to connecting with voters at the grassroots level, as he has already covered more than 185 constituencies across Tamil Nadu so far. The focus on Tiruvallur and Chengalpattu districts highlights the strategic importance of these regions in the broader political landscape of the state.
