Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu, Dr. Sunil Gupta, chaired a comprehensive security review meeting at the Police Control Room in Jammu on Tuesday. The meeting focused on enhancing intelligence gathering mechanisms and strengthening coordination among various security agencies to ensure peace and stability in the region.
Key Highlights of the Meeting
During the session, SSP Gupta emphasized the need for proactive intelligence collection and timely sharing of information among police units. He directed officers to maintain constant vigilance and adopt a zero-tolerance approach towards any anti-social elements. The review covered the current security scenario, including threats from militant activities and criminal networks.
Intelligence Gathering Strategies
The meeting discussed strategies to improve human intelligence and technical surveillance. Officers were instructed to strengthen community policing initiatives to gain public trust and gather actionable intelligence.
