Punjab's 1076 helpline delivers over 3.1 lakh services

Chandigarh: Punjab's 1076 helpline and doorstep delivery initiative, ‘Bhagwant Mann Sarkar, Tuhade Dwaar', has delivered more than 3.1 lakh services to citizens, while pendency across departments has fallen to 0.33%, a spokesperson said on Wednesday.

Integrated Platform for Government Services

The spokesperson stated that citizens can now access 437 government services through the integrated platform by calling the 1076 helpline or booking appointments via WhatsApp, the online portal, and Sewa Kendras.

Doorstep Delivery System

Under the system, trained doorstep delivery operators visit citizens' homes, collect documents, assist with applications, and facilitate online submission. This eliminates the need for repeated visits to government offices.
