A 21-year-old truck driver hailing from the Kasganj district of Uttar Pradesh filed a complaint with the South Chakan police. According to an officer from the South Chakan police station, the driver was navigating the Nashik-Pune highway on Sunday evening when four men traveling in a four-wheeler forced him to halt. The accused alleged that the truck had grazed their vehicle and subsequently began hurling abuses at the driver.

The situation escalated rapidly as one of the suspects shattered the truck's windscreen, while others forcibly entered the cabin. The driver was attacked with a stone, dragged out of the vehicle, and beaten severely. After the assault, the perpetrators fled the scene.

Police Action and Legal Charges

Upon receiving the complaint, the police team promptly initiated an investigation and took four suspects into custody. The arrested individuals have been charged under Section 315 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which pertains to voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means. The officer confirmed that the legal process is underway.
