A fire broke out at a residence in outer Delhi's Begumpur area on Wednesday afternoon, officials confirmed. The incident took place behind the Begumpur police station, prompting a swift response from the Delhi Fire Service (DFS).

Fire Incident Details

According to the Delhi Fire Service, a distress call regarding the blaze was received at approximately 2:07 pm. In response, four fire tenders and nearly 24 fire personnel were dispatched to the location to contain the fire. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that the fire had originated from a designer paper pouch manufacturing machine installed on the ground floor of the building.

Firefighting Efforts

The firefighting team worked diligently to bring the situation under control. The blaze was successfully extinguished by 3:10 pm. No fatalities were reported in the incident, and no injuries have been confirmed so far. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
