CM Yogi Adityanath Invokes Ram Rajya at Ram Yantra Consecration in Ayodhya
During the sacred consecration ceremony of the Shri Ram Yantra at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath invoked the profound concept of Ram Rajya. He drew a stark contrast between the global landscape marred by conflicts, economic instability, fear, and terror, and the unifying spiritual event in Ayodhya that brought thousands of devotees together in joyous celebration.
Praise for the Present Generation's Spiritual Choices
Chief Minister Adityanath specifically commended the current generation for their evolving preferences. He highlighted that many are now choosing to visit temples with their families during occasions like New Year, rather than opting for tourist destinations where activities may oppose the core values of Sanatan Dharma. This shift, he asserted, reflects a deeper cultural and spiritual awakening among the youth.
"The Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of the Ram Mandir, the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla, the installation of the sacred idols of Ram Darbar, the hoisting of the flag, and now the consecration of the Shri Ram Yantra fill every follower of Sanatan Dharma and every true Indian with immense joy. This reflects the deep-rooted faith of India," the Chief Minister stated emphatically.
Criticism of Opposition Parties' Stance on Faith
In a pointed critique, CM Yogi Adityanath hit out at Opposition parties for what he described as insulting faith by labeling it as "blind belief." He defended the enduring strength of this faith, which he said remained steadfast for over 500 years, endured numerous struggles, and never broke under pressure, ultimately manifesting in the magnificent temple in Ayodhya that now stands proudly for the world to witness.
He accused the Opposition of further insulting faith by refusing to visit Noida due to a superstitious fear of losing their political positions. Additionally, he claimed that Opposition elements have wrongly labeled revered sites like the Ram temple, Kashi Vishwanath Dham, and the Krishna-Kanhaiya traditions of Mathura-Vrindavan as mere superstition, undermining their spiritual significance.
Celebrating India's Cultural and Spiritual Heritage
Elaborating on his pride, the Chief Minister highlighted impressive visitation statistics to underscore this cultural resurgence. He revealed that in 2025, a staggering 156 crore devotees and tourists visited religious and spiritual sites across Uttar Pradesh. The number of visitors to key pilgrimage centers such as Ayodhya, Kashi, Prayagraj Mahakumbh, and Mathura-Vrindavan even exceeded the entire population of many countries.
"India remains India because of the penance of sages, the hard work of farmers, the enterprise of artisans, and the enduring faith that has upheld the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'. The completion ceremony of the Shri Ramjanmabhoomi has brought joy not only to the people of the state but also to followers of Sanatan Dharma across the country and the world," Yogi Adityanath affirmed.
Acknowledging Contributions and Sacrifices
The Chief Minister expressed heartfelt gratitude to the seers, devotees of Lord Ram, artisans, and workers whose dedicated efforts contributed to the construction of the Ram temple. He also paid solemn tribute to those who lost their lives during the long and arduous Ram temple movement, as well as to the late VHP leader Ashok Singhal, honoring their legacy and sacrifice.
CM Yogi Adityanath concluded by emphasizing that this widespread participation and reverence signify a new and changing India. He believes the present generation is no longer misguided but is consciously choosing the path of Sanatan values, steering the nation towards a future rooted in its rich spiritual heritage.
