Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to preside over a significant programme at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University in Gorakhpur this Wednesday. The event, part of the ambitious ‘Viksit Bharat–Viksit Uttar Pradesh 2047’ initiative, aims to honor students and farmers for their contributions to technological and agricultural advancements.

Distinguished Guests and Key Attendees

The ceremony will feature Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, as the chief guest, with K Krithivasan, Managing Director and CEO of Tata Consultancy Services, serving as the guest of honor. Both industry leaders will participate in the proceedings at the university auditorium, highlighting the collaboration between academia and corporate sectors in driving innovation.

Memorandum of Understanding and Felicitations

During the programme, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed between Mahayogi Gorakhnath University and the Centre of Medical Innovation at the Government Institute of Medical Sciences in Greater Noida. This partnership is expected to foster medical research and healthcare education.

  • 13 students recognized for their efforts in AI awareness initiatives and hackathon victories.

University Background and Growth

Established in August 2021 and inaugurated by former President Ram Nath Kovind, Mahayogi Gorakhnath University has quickly developed into a multidisciplinary institution. Spanning over 130 acres, the university offers 43 programmes across eight faculties, with a strong emphasis on incorporating AI and data science into its academic curriculum.

With a student body exceeding 3,400 and a faculty of 500 members, the university prioritizes innovation, healthcare education, and community outreach.
