Vice President C P Radhakrishnan is scheduled to embark on a significant daylong tour of Jharkhand this Saturday, with a primary focus on paying tribute to the revered tribal leader Bhagwan Birsa Munda. His itinerary includes a visit to Munda's native village and participation in a prestigious academic convocation, underscoring a blend of cultural homage and educational engagement.

Homage to Bhagwan Birsa Munda in Ulihatu Village

According to official sources, the Vice President will arrive at the Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi at 9:35 am. From there, he will proceed directly to Ulihatu village in Khunti district, the birthplace of the legendary tribal icon Bhagwan Birsa Munda. During this visit, Radhakrishnan is set to pay solemn homage to Munda, whose legacy as a freedom fighter and social reformer remains deeply influential in Indian history. To ensure safety, no-fly zones have been declared within a 200-meter radius along the route from Birsa Munda Airport to Lok Bhawan, passing through Hinoo Chowk, Birsa Chowk, and Argora Chowk, as well as around IIM Ranchi. In Khunti district, similar restrictions will be enforced wherever his cavalcade is scheduled to travel.

Key prohibitions include:
