Chandrapur: Two youths were killed and another critically injured after a speeding private bus rammed their motorcycle from behind on the Talodhi–Nagbhid highway near Sonewat under Talodhi police station limits on Sunday evening.
Victims Identified
The deceased were identified as Jagdish Namdev Neware (26) of Murpar and Sharda Dudhkure (19) of Talodhi. The injured, Piyush alias Mayur Kohale of Murpar, was shifted to Gadchiroli for medical treatment.
Accident Details
According to preliminary investigations, the trio was riding triple-seat on the motorcycle. The impact was severe, leaving the bike mangled, with Neware and Dudhkure crushed under the bus. Residents rushed to help as traffic was briefly disrupted on the highway.
The probe is being supervised by PSI Lambat and Mankar under the guidance of PI Rahul Guhe. Further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
