The police acted on a tip-off and apprehended the suspects in the Mahadevapura area. During interrogation, the accused confessed to stealing two-wheelers from various residential localities. The recovered vehicles include popular models such as Honda Activa, Bajaj Pulsar, and TVS Apache.
Modus Operandi
The thieves targeted parked vehicles, often during late-night hours. They used duplicate keys and sometimes broke the handlebar locks. The stolen vehicles were then sold to unsuspecting buyers in neighboring districts at lower prices.
