SRP Jawan Succumbs to Suspected Heart Attack Following Morning Training in Vadodara
A tragic incident unfolded in Vadodara on Monday when a 29-year-old State Reserve Police (SRP) jawan died of a suspected heart attack shortly after completing a rigorous morning training parade. The young constable, identified as Deepak Baria, was attached to SRP Group 9 and had been actively undergoing intensive training for the past four weeks as part of his duties.
Sudden Medical Emergency After Parade
According to official statements from SRP authorities, Baria had just finished the demanding training session and returned to his room to change clothes. It was at this moment that he began experiencing severe chest pain, prompting immediate concern among his colleagues. A fellow jawan quickly assisted him and took him to the on-site clinic located within the SRP premises for initial medical assessment.
Rushed to Hospital But Succumbs During Treatment
Despite the swift response, Baria's condition deteriorated rapidly. Medical personnel at the clinic referred him to the larger SSG Hospital for advanced treatment. Tragically, he collapsed just outside the clinic entrance before he could be transported further. He was urgently rushed to the emergency ward of SSG Hospital, where despite all efforts by the medical team, he passed away during treatment.
An SRP officer provided details on the sequence of events, stating, "Baria had successfully completed his training and went to his room to change. It was then that he complained of chest pain. We acted immediately, but unfortunately, he could not be saved."
