Shinde Expresses Confidence in Double-Engine Government
Speaking to reporters, Shinde, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, expressed confidence that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new chapter of development will be written in West Bengal through a “double-engine” government. He said that the people of Bengal have reposed their faith in the BJP's vision for progress and stability.
NCP Leaders Join in Praising BJP's Performance
NCP leaders also lauded the BJP's electoral success, stating that it reflects the growing acceptance of the party's policies across the country. They noted that the victories in both states are a testament to the effective governance and development agenda of the Modi government at the Centre.
The BJP secured a decisive mandate in Assam, while in West Bengal, the party made significant gains, reducing the ruling Trinamool Congress's majority. The results are seen as a major boost for the BJP ahead of upcoming elections in other states.
Shinde further remarked that the double-engine government in Bengal will accelerate infrastructure projects, create jobs, and improve the lives of the common people. He thanked the voters for their support and urged party workers to continue working for the nation's development.
