Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified his attack on the Trinamool Congress while addressing a rally in Bangaon, alleging widespread lawlessness and failure to protect women in West Bengal. Referring to incidents in Sandeshkhali, he accused the state government of shielding criminals and ignoring the plight of victims.
Modi's Strong Remarks on Law and Order
Modi said growing anger among women reflects deep dissatisfaction with the current regime. He claimed that daughters are unsafe and missing while authorities remain indifferent. Calling for political change, he urged voters, especially women, to reject what he described as 'Maha Jungleraj' and assured that strict action would be taken against offenders if the BJP forms the government.
Appeal to Women Voters
The Prime Minister emphasized that the safety of women is a top priority for his government. He stated that the TMC has failed to provide security and justice to the people of West Bengal. Modi's speech resonated with the crowd, as he highlighted the need for a change in leadership to restore order and protect the rights of women.
Modi also criticized the TMC for its alleged involvement in corruption and criminal activities. He promised that a BJP government would ensure strict enforcement of laws and bring perpetrators to justice. The rally in Bangaon is part of the BJP's campaign to gain ground in West Bengal ahead of upcoming elections.
