Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Holds Meeting with 12 Trainee IAS Officers
In a significant interaction at his official residence in Patna, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar welcomed all 12 trainee Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from the 2024 batch of the Bihar cadre on Tuesday. The meeting took place at the 'Sankalp Sabhagar' located at 1 Anne Marg, where the officers shared their firsthand experiences from the districts assigned during their training period.
CM Emphasizes Role of IAS Officers in Policy Implementation
During the discussion, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed his satisfaction with hearing the officers' accounts. He highlighted the critical phase of their careers, stating, "You are currently in the training period, after which you all will be posted. The government formulates policies and the role of IAS officers is very important in implementing them." He further urged the officers to contribute to the progress of both Bihar and the nation by working with sensitivity, honesty, discipline, and complete dedication. The CM concluded by extending his best wishes for their bright futures.

The group of 12 trainee IAS officers includes a mix of genders and regional origins, reflecting the diversity of India's administrative services. The officers present were:
