Farmers Laud Yogi's Rule as Jewar Transforms

Lucknow: Farmers who contributed their land for the Noida International Airport met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday, painting a vivid picture of Jewar's transformation over the past nine years. One farmer highlighted the improved law and order situation, stating, 'This is Babaji's rule; today in Jewar, no one dares to snatch money from a farmer or an ordinary citizen.' An elderly farmer who recently returned from Hajj blessed the CM, noting that the country's largest airport, Film City, and major projects have become Jewar's new identity.

Farmers Share Their Experiences

Hansraj, a farmer from Jewar part of a 172-member delegation, said that 99% of his fellow travelers had only seen an aircraft in the sky and never imagined flying. Praising the 'rule of Babaji (Yogi)' for improved law and order, Hansraj recalled an incident before 2017 when an elderly woman returning from withdrawing her pension was robbed by two motorcycle-borne men. He contrasted this with 2019, when a farmer withdrew Rs 25 lakh from a local bank, wrapped it in a towel, and carried it home openly. When asked why he wasn't cautious, the man replied, 'Under Babaji's rule, that is impossible.'

Excitement Over Development

Farmers expressed excitement that their land, once used for crops, now sends aircraft into the sky. Jafru Khan said he boarded the plane in Noida wearing slippers, calling it a special experience. He noted that under Yogi Adityanath, people have witnessed tremendous progress, including the largest international airport, numerous companies, and a Film City, creating employment opportunities.

Educational Transformation

Dr. Hira Rashid, daughter of a Jewar farmer who completed MBBS from Aligarh Muslim University, said her dream of becoming a doctor would not have been fulfilled without the BJP government. She recalled a time when internet connectivity was unavailable, educational resources were insufficient, and bus services for school were inadequate. However, development under Yogi Adityanath improved the region and educational opportunities. She cleared NEET in 2021 without coaching, crediting the Yogi government's basic facilities.

Another villager, Rita, spoke about the stark difference between old and new Jewar. Married in 1997, she remembered when the area had virtually nothing, forcing people to travel to Khurja for education. After 2017, connectivity improved dramatically, allowing children to pursue higher education locally.

Mementos and Gifts

The farmers presented a memento to CM Yogi Adityanath. Kamlesh Devi, Poonam Devi, Kanishk, Babli Devi, and Madhu Devi offered a Radha-Krishna idol. Manveer Singh Khatik, Balbhadra, Ved Prakash Sharma, Puran Singh Kori, Hazari Baghel, Khandeshwar, and Mahipal Singh Jatav presented a commemorative memento titled 'Kisan Ki Udaan'.
