Dhinakaran Questions Authenticity of Video
CHENNAI: AMMK leader T T V Dhinakaran has escalated pressure on actor Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) over a video circulating on social media that shows TVK's winning candidate, S Kamaraj, allegedly supporting the party's bid to form the government. Dhinakaran questioned the footage's authenticity, claiming Kamaraj appeared "voluntarily and happily" backing TVK, but the video might be manipulated.
Demand for Original Documents
Dhinakaran demanded the original signed letter from Kamaraj supporting TVK, along with details on who recorded the video and who orchestrated it—whether TVK chief coordinator K A Sengottaiyan or functionary C T R Nirmal Kumar. He accused "Dhooya Sakthi Vijay's party of forging the letter" to stake its claim to the government.
Allegations of AI-Generated Content
Furthermore, Dhinakaran called for an inquiry to verify the genuineness of the letter circulating on social media. “The video is AI-generated,” he claimed, denouncing Vijay for indulging in forgery to become chief minister. “They have submitted the letter to the Governor. It was in one of the annexures of the letter submitted by Vijay. So, we requested him to probe into the issue,” he added.
