Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta Lauds Women's Reservation Bill as Transformative Step
During her recent visit to the sacred city of Tirupati, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta delivered a powerful endorsement of the Women's Reservation Bill, characterizing it as a landmark and far-reaching initiative that promises to significantly strengthen women's empowerment across the nation. During her Tirupati visit, Chief Minister Gupta offered prayers at the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, seeking peace, prosperity, and good health for all citizens. "Managing darshan for 70,000 to one lakh devotees daily without inconvenience is truly commendable," she stated, congratulating the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) team for their diligent efforts. Gupta also visited the Integrated Command and Control Centre of the TTD, where she praised its innovative use of modern technology and efficient management systems.
She noted that the center plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of pilgrims and facilitating smooth darshan experiences. "The seamless blend of tradition and technology here is exemplary and can serve as a model for religious institutions across the country," Gupta remarked, underscoring the importance of integrating technological advancements with traditional practices.
