BJP Leader Rekha Sharma Condemns Opposition's Stance on Women's Reservation Act
In a sharp critique from Chandigarh, Rajya Sabha MP and former chairperson of the National Commission for Women, Rekha Sharma of the BJP, expressed deep disappointment on Monday over the opposition's failure to extend cooperation in passing the Nari Shakti Vandan Act. She described it as unfortunate that during a historic opportunity to secure women's constitutional rights, the opposition opted to spread confusion instead of supporting the legislation.
