Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose as a great son of the country whose life, personality, and actions continue to motivate every Indian citizen. He emphasized that Bose's name evokes deep reverence, immense pride, and an unwavering determination to resist anti-national forces, even under the most challenging circumstances.

Adityanath highlighted that at a crucial juncture when the freedom movement under Mahatma Gandhi's leadership was reaching a decisive phase, Bose emerged as the torchbearer of revolutionary nationalism. The Chief Minister recalled Bose's iconic call, "Give me blood and I will give you freedom," which became a powerful mantra for the independence movement. The Lucknow event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Lucknow Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, Legislative Council member Avnish Kumar Singh, MLC Mahendra Singh, MLC Pawan Singh Chauhan, and MLA Neeraj Vora, among others.
Earlier on Friday, Adityanath also took to his social media platforms to laud Netaji Bose, crediting him with reshaping India's freedom movement through the establishment of the Indian National Army (INA). He posted on X, "Netaji, a true son of Bharat Mata and the one who gave the clarion call, 'tum mujhe khoon do, main tumhe azadi doonga,' gave a new direction to the freedom struggle by forming the Azad Hind Fauj. His valour, courage and selfless devotion to Mother India are worthy of reverence."
