A total of 355 trainee home guards from various districts successfully completed their 63-day basic training and participated in a ceremonial passing-out parade at the Regional Training Centre of Jharkhand Home Guards in Hazaribag on Sunday.
Oath Ceremony and Address
Deputy Commissioner Hemant Sati attended the event as the chief guest and administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly trained personnel. Addressing the trainees, the DC emphasized the importance of discipline, calling it the core principle of uniformed services.
"The knowledge and discipline acquired during training must be imbibed in life. Discipline plays a crucial role not just in service but in shaping one's personality," he said.
Training Details
The rigorous 63-day program covered physical fitness, law and order duties, crowd control, and emergency response. The passing-out parade marked the culmination of their training, showcasing their skills and readiness for service.
