According to reports, Paramjit Kaur, a resident of Haibowal, was admitted to Deep Hospital on the Gill Road in Ludhiana. She was undergoing treatment but sadly passed away on Thursday.
After her death, the hospital staff reportedly moved her body to the mortuary. However, when the family members went to the mortuary to complete the necessary formalities, they were shocked to find that the body was missing. This triggered immediate panic and anger among the relatives.
Allegations of Hospital Negligence
The kin of the deceased have squarely blamed the hospital administration for sheer negligence and a serious lapse in security. They created a ruckus within the hospital premises, demanding answers and immediate action. The family alleges that the hospital failed in its basic duty of care even after the patient's death.
Following the protest and commotion, the hospital staff and management initiated a search. Subsequently, the body was found on the same floor, but in a different room.
