On Sunday evening, a speeding car struck a 50-year-old woman in the Gotri area. The victim, Amrita Prajapati, was walking along the roadside. The impact caused severe injuries. She was rushed to a hospital but succumbed during treatment.

Gotri police quickly registered a case. They arrested the driver, Ajitsinh Sindha. Authorities booked him for rash driving and causing death by negligence.

Morning Tragedy in Makarpura

A seven-year-old girl died in a morning accident on Monday. The incident occurred in the Makarpura area. Jiya Solanki was traveling to school with her sister. Their father, Chetan Solanki, was driving the two-wheeler.

A speeding car rammed into another vehicle nearby. This collision forced the other vehicle to hit their bike. Jiya fell onto the road and sustained severe head injuries. She died while undergoing medical treatment.

Karelibaug Incident Claims a Young Life

Later on Monday, a water tanker ran over a 10-year-old boy in Karelibaug. The child, Deepak Talpada, was standing by the roadside near a water tank. Police reports indicate the tanker driver failed to notice him.

The boy was knocked down and rushed to SSG Hospital. Doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
