A tragic incident in Lucknow has claimed the life of a Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force (UPSSF) personnel. The jawan, identified as Akhilesh Chaube, succumbed to injuries after being struck by a high-speed car in the Gomtinagar area on Sunday night.

The unfortunate event took place near Gate No. 1 of Srijan Vihar in Gomtinagar, where the victim was posted. According to police reports, a car approaching from behind hit Akhilesh Chaube with great force. The impact was so severe that he was thrown a considerable distance and sustained critical head injuries.
Showing immediate alertness, other security personnel stationed at the gate swiftly pursued the vehicle and managed to apprehend the driver. The injured jawan was rushed to the Civil Hospital for emergency medical attention. Despite treatment, his condition deteriorated, and he passed away on Monday.
