According to police reports, a car approaching from behind hit Akhilesh Chaube with great force. Showing immediate alertness, other security personnel stationed at the gate swiftly pursued the vehicle and managed to apprehend the driver. The injured jawan was rushed to the Civil Hospital for emergency medical attention. Despite treatment, his condition deteriorated, and he passed away on Monday.

Station House Officer of Gomtinagar, Brijesh Chandra Tiwari, confirmed that the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.
