Unnao Noodles Factory Fire Controlled After 4-Hour Battle

Major Fire Breaks Out at Unnao District Noodles Factory

A significant fire erupted at a noodles manufacturing plant located outside Oonchadwar village in Unnao district on Monday morning. The factory, which belongs to a resident of Lucknow, became engulfed in flames during the early hours.

Short Circuit Suspected as Cause

Authorities suspect a short circuit triggered the devastating blaze. The incident began around 3 am on Sunday night when fiery balls started emerging from inside the factory building.

The Agro factory operates in the Kotwali area just outside Oonchadwar village. Workers reported seeing intense flames spreading rapidly through the facility.

Four-Hour Firefighting Battle

Two fire tenders arrived at the scene approximately thirty minutes after receiving the emergency call. Firefighters worked tirelessly for four continuous hours before finally bringing the raging fire under control.

Kotwal Sharad Kumar confirmed that the firefighting teams successfully contained the blaze. One fire vehicle remains stationed at the location as a precautionary measure to extinguish any potential flare-ups.

Extensive Material Damage Reported

The fire caused substantial destruction to factory materials stored inside the facility. Mustard oil, pasta products, macaroni, porridge supplies, flour, gram flour, and soya chunks all suffered damage in the intense blaze.

Local police have launched a thorough investigation into the incident. Officers are currently examining the factory premises to determine the exact sequence of events that led to the fire.

The factory's remote location outside Oonchadwar village presented additional challenges for emergency responders. Despite these difficulties, fire crews managed to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby structures.
