Amritsar: Two minor girls, aged 14 and 17, have gone missing in Amritsar, prompting a police search operation. According to their family, the girls left home on Monday afternoon to attend a computer coaching centre but failed to return. Later, the family discovered that the girls had never reached the institute.

Family Appeals for Intensified Search

After unsuccessful attempts to trace the girls through relatives, friends, and acquaintances, the family reported the matter to the police. They have appealed to both the police and the district administration to intensify efforts to locate the missing minors.

Police Investigation Underway

A police official confirmed that a case has been registered based on the family's complaint. Police teams are currently examining CCTV footage from the area and along possible routes the girls might have taken. Separate teams have also been constituted to trace them.
