Two Motorcycle Accidents in Delhi Claim Lives, Drivers Flee Scene
Two Delhi Motorcycle Accidents Kill Riders, Drivers Flee

Two separate motorcycle accidents in Delhi over recent days have resulted in tragic fatalities, with both drivers fleeing the scenes. Police are actively investigating these hit-and-run cases that have left families devastated.

Najafgarh Accident Claims Two Lives

In southwest Delhi's Najafgarh area, a horrific crash occurred on Saturday near a mobile store close to the local police station. A hatchback car violently rammed into a motorcycle, throwing both riders onto the road with tremendous force.

The impact proved fatal for Manoj, aged 30, who died immediately at the scene. His pillion rider, 28-year-old Ajay, sustained critical injuries and later succumbed during medical treatment despite doctors' efforts.

CCTV Footage Helps Identify Vehicle

Surveillance cameras captured the entire incident, providing crucial evidence to investigators. The footage clearly shows the car striking the two-wheeler, enabling police to identify the vehicle involved in this tragic collision.

Authorities have identified the driver as Manish, who remains at large following the accident. Police have registered a formal case and are conducting an intensive search to locate and apprehend the accused driver.

Delhi Cantt Incident Kills Child

In a separate but equally tragic incident near Delhi Cantt on January 9, an 11-year-old boy lost his life when a speeding truck allegedly struck the motorcycle carrying his family. The powerful impact from behind sent all three riders tumbling onto the roadway.

The young boy suffered fatal injuries in the collision. His parents both sustained injuries in the crash - the father received minor wounds while the mother suffered critical injuries that required extensive medical attention.

Mother Recovers, Driver Escapes

Medical officials report that the mother has now stabilized and is out of immediate danger following treatment. However, the family's relief is tempered by their profound loss and the driver's disappearance from the accident site.

Police confirmed that the truck driver fled immediately after the collision. Authorities have registered a case and are working to trace the vehicle and its operator responsible for this heartbreaking incident.

These back-to-back tragedies highlight ongoing concerns about road safety in Delhi, particularly regarding hit-and-run incidents that leave victims without justice and families without closure.
