The operation lasted for twelve hours. It involved coordinated and targeted raids. City police commissioner N Kamini supervised the entire operation.

The accused face various charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. These charges include:

Police seized weapons such as knives during the raids. They also recovered contraband substances. The arrested individuals were presented before appropriate magistrates. The court remanded them to judicial custody.

The operation involved senior police officials. Deputy commissioners of police for north, south, and headquarters zones participated. Assistant commissioners and inspectors from all fourteen police stations in Trichy took part.
