Teen Driver Flees After Crashing Into Bikes in Kanpur

Late on Sunday night, a shocking incident unfolded in Kanpur's Rawatpur area. A minor behind the wheel of a four-wheeler caused significant damage. The young driver, accompanied by another teenager, lost control of the vehicle.

Chaos Near Namak Factory

The speeding car first rammed into three motorcycles parked along the roadside. It then crashed directly into a wall located near the salt factory. This area sits in front of Rainbow School, making the event particularly alarming for local residents.

Injuries and Damage

A young man riding one of the bikes sustained minor injuries during the collision. Fortunately, his injuries were not severe. However, the material damage was extensive. Three motorcycles and another car were badly damaged in the impact.

Eyewitnesses at the scene reported seeing the car moving at high speed just before the crash. The force of the collision left debris scattered across the road.

Accused Flee the Scene

Immediately after causing the accident, both teenage occupants of the car made a quick decision. They abandoned their damaged vehicle right there on the spot. Taking advantage of the darkness that enveloped the area late at night, they fled on foot. This left authorities with an empty car and many questions.

Police Response and Investigation

Police officials received an alert about the incident and promptly reached the Rawatpur location. Their first priority was to clear the wreckage from the roadway. They removed the damaged bikes and car to restore normal traffic flow in the area.

Law enforcement has now launched a full investigation. Officers are working to identify the teenagers involved in this hit-and-run case. They are using the car's registration number as a primary clue in their search.

Manoj Mishra, the officer in charge of Rawatpur police station, provided an update on the case. He confirmed that police teams are actively searching for the minor car occupants. Mishra stated clearly that legal action will be taken against the teenagers once they are located and identified.

The incident has raised serious concerns about underage driving in the city. Local residents are calling for stricter enforcement of traffic laws, especially regarding young drivers operating vehicles without proper licenses or supervision.
