According to official reports, the five masked assailants entered the bank during business hours, brandishing weapons to intimidate staff and customers. They successfully escaped with approximately 10 kilograms of gold and around Rs 35 lakh in cash, bringing the total estimated value of the stolen items to a staggering Rs 15.35 crore. The swift and coordinated nature of the robbery has raised serious concerns about security protocols at financial institutions in the area.

Police Response and Multi-State Manhunt

Singrauli Superintendent of Police Manish Khatri confirmed to ANI that police teams have been deployed across multiple states in a determined effort to track down the remaining accused. "We have achieved a preliminary breakthrough so far. Police teams have been deployed across various states; we will provide further updates as soon as any new information becomes available," he stated. Under the direction of Rewa Zone Special Director General Anil Kumar and IG Gaurav Rajput, authorities have formed 10 special investigation teams dedicated to solving the case and apprehending all suspects involved.

Breakthrough in the Investigation

In a significant development, police have already detained two suspects with assistance from the Bihar Railway Police. Both individuals were apprehended in Bihar, marking a crucial step forward in the investigation. Officials revealed that the police utilized camera footage from the bank and surrounding areas to identify the perpetrators within 24 hours of the incident, demonstrating a rapid and effective response to the crisis.

Madhya Pradesh Minister Sampatiya Uikey visited the district headquarters on Saturday to review the situation with senior police officials. She directed them to expedite the arrest of all accused and expressed confidence in the police's efforts. "I express my gratitude to the Police officials for their swift and sensitive response to a critical situation in the city, which is located at the border of four states: Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar," she said. Uikey further confirmed that all five suspects have been identified and emphasized ongoing discussions with the administration to prevent such incidents in the future. "I am confident that all five suspects will be caught soon. We are continuously discussing with the administration to ensure such an incident does not happen again," she added.
