Rohtak Man Vanishes, Car Found with Bloodstains and Bullet Shells
In a chilling development in Rohtak district, a man named Satyawan, a resident of Khedi Sadh village, has mysteriously disappeared after his car was found abandoned with bloodstains and empty bullet shells near Kharawad village on February 20. Despite the grim discovery, no body was recovered from the scene, deepening the mystery surrounding his whereabouts.
Following the recovery of the vehicle, Satyawan's family promptly lodged a missing person report with the authorities. Police teams have since launched an intensive search operation to locate him and are actively probing whether his disappearance is linked to the 2018 murder of Dharmendra, who also hailed from the same village.
Long-Standing Feud and 2018 Murder Case
According to police sources, Satyawan and Dharmendra had a long-standing and bitter dispute that escalated significantly after Satyawan's wife filed a molestation case against Dharmendra. Dharmendra vehemently denied the allegations, labeling them as false, but the conflict culminated in his tragic murder.
As per the FIR registered in 2018, Dharmendra, who worked as a taxi driver, had gone out on the night of December 31, 2017, to celebrate New Year with friends. When he failed to return late into the night, his brother Rohit went out searching for him. Rohit later joined Dharmendra and his friends—Dinesh from Humayunpur and Pradeep from Jhadoda Kalan (Delhi), both currently residing in Khedi Sadh—who were sitting in a car at the bus stand. The group then proceeded towards their homes.
The FIR detailed that around 3-4 am, as the group reached outside Satyawan's house, Satyawan was standing there. Dharmendra reportedly confronted him, accusing him of registering a false case. Following a heated argument, Satyawan went inside his house, returned with a pistol, and shot Dharmendra dead.
Conviction and Recent Disappearance
Satyawan was subsequently convicted for the murder and had been out on bail for the past two-and-a-half years. His sudden disappearance on February 20 has now raised serious concerns, with police exploring all possible angles, including potential revenge or foul play related to the earlier crime. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to unravel the truth behind this unsettling case.
