According to the victim's father, who is a native of Myanmar and works as a daily-wage labourer, the incident occurred around 11 pm. A group of boys, known to his son, began verbally abusing the teenager and his friends, allegedly using derogatory terms such as "refugees." When the 14-year-old objected to the abuse, the situation escalated rapidly.
The group allegedly attacked the boy, stabbing him several times in the abdomen. He was immediately rushed for medical treatment but, despite efforts, succumbed to his injuries the following day. The victim's mother, a homemaker, and the family are now grappling with the loss.

Following the incident, Delhi Police swiftly took action, registering a murder case based on the father's complaint. Four accused individuals were arrested in connection with the crime. They have been identified as Ehsaan (19), Aqib (19), Aman (18), and Faraz (18).
