Red Fort Bomber Calls Suicide Bombing 'Misunderstood' in Chilling Video
Red Fort Bomber: Suicide Bombing 'Misunderstood Concept'

Chilling Video Reveals Bomber's Mindset Before Delhi Attack

A disturbing new video has emerged showing Dr Umar Un Nabi, the prime accused in the devastating Delhi car bomb case, describing suicide bombing as a "misunderstood concept." The footage, believed to have been recorded before the November 10 attack that killed 12 people near the historic Red Fort, shows the medical professional calmly discussing what he calls "martyrdom operations."

Bomber's Disturbing Justification

In the video that has surfaced online, Dr Umar Nabi is heard providing his twisted justification for violent acts. "One of the very misunderstood concepts is concept of what has been labelled as suicide bombing. It is a martyrdom operation," Nabi states while sitting alone in a room. He further elaborates, "There are multiple arguments and contradictions that have been brought against it. Martyrdom operation is when a person presumes that he is going for sure die at a particular place, at a particular time."

Official Confirmation and Investigation Details

The video's appearance comes just one day after the National Investigation Agency (NIA) officially described Nabi as a "suicide bomber" for the first time since beginning its probe into the horrific incident. This represents a significant development in the ongoing investigation. Authorities have confirmed through DNA evidence that Nabi was indeed behind the wheel of the Hyundai i20 that exploded near the historic monument. The forensic match was established by comparing his remains with DNA samples from his mother.

The November 10 terror attack shook the national capital, occurring mere hours after police had busted a sophisticated 'white-collar' terror module in Faridabad. During that earlier operation, investigators recovered a massive cache of nearly 3,000 kg of explosive substances along with various arms and ammunition, indicating the scale of the planned operations.

The emergence of this video provides crucial insight into the mindset of the perpetrator and adds a disturbing dimension to one of the most significant terror incidents to hit Delhi in recent years.
