In a comprehensive move to ensure social harmony and maintain strict law and order, the Ranchi administration has announced the deployment of magistrates and security forces at over 100 strategic locations across the city during the upcoming Saraswati Puja celebrations. The security arrangements are particularly focused on critical points such as procession routes and water bodies, where idol immersion ceremonies are scheduled to take place on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, the Rapid Action Police (RAP) units have been positioned at Albert Ekka Chowk, Nagri police station, and the central control room, ensuring immediate mobilization to directed spots in case of urgent situations.

Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri has issued strict instructions to all circle officers, block development officers, and police station in-charges. During the drill, police forces demonstrated their preparedness to handle various challenging scenarios, including:

In Hazaribag, police are on high alert with continuous drone surveillance being carried out over crowded areas, sensitive locations, puja pandals, and procession routes.
