A 26-year-old employee of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Pune allegedly died by suicide, accusing colleagues of harassment. The incident occurred on June 12, 2026. The deceased, identified as Rohan Joshi, was found hanging in his apartment in Hinjewadi. A suicide note recovered from the scene alleged constant mental harassment by his team members and supervisor.
Police Investigation Underway
The Hinjewadi police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against unknown persons. Senior Inspector Sunil Pawar stated that the note has been sent for forensic analysis. Statements of colleagues and family members are being recorded. No arrests have been made yet.

TCS issued a statement expressing deep sorrow and extending condolences to the family. The company said it is cooperating with the investigation and has initiated an internal inquiry. It also assured strict action against those found responsible.
