Police reports indicate that the argument initially subsided when the group left the scene. However, they returned approximately 30 minutes later and launched an attack. When Ramasre intervened to protect his brother, one of the accused fired a gunshot, injuring him.

Senior police officer VK Mishra, the SHO of Holagarh, confirmed that Ramasre was promptly admitted to SRN Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment for his injuries. In a swift response, local residents managed to apprehend one of the attackers, identified as Chandan from Holagarh.
