In a decisive move to enforce traffic regulations, the Daltonganj police have launched a rigorous special drive targeting the use of black films on car windows. This initiative follows explicit orders from Palamu Superintendent of Police Kapil Chaudhary, underscoring a commitment to road safety and legal compliance.

Police officials have clarified that the use of such films is generally banned in vehicles, as per existing court orders. An official elaborated on the specific legal requirements, stating, "It is legal only if the front and rear windows of the cars allow 70% and side windows 50% light." This standard ensures adequate visibility for drivers and law enforcement, reducing risks associated with obscured windows.
