Pali Minor Assault: Class 11 Student Booked for Sexual Assault on Class 9 Girl
Pali: Class 11 student booked for assaulting minor schoolmate

Police in Rajasthan's Pali district have taken swift action, registering a serious case of sexual assault following a disturbing incident involving two students from the same school. The complaint alleges that a boy studying in Class 11 sexually assaulted a minor girl from Class 9, leading to a formal investigation and medical examination of the victim.

How the Harrowing Incident Came to Light

The case came to the attention of authorities after the family of the 14-year-old survivor noticed a significant and worrying change in her behaviour. The girl, who is a minor, had become withdrawn and was visibly distressed. Concerned family members gently questioned her about the cause of her anguish.

It was during this conversation that the traumatised girl broke down and narrated the horrific ordeal she had endured. According to the official complaint filed with the police, the accused boy had befriended the victim. Around two weeks prior, he called her to a field where he allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Threats and Social Media Circulation Alleged

The family's allegations paint an even more alarming picture. After committing the assault, the accused reportedly threatened the young girl with dire consequences if she dared to disclose the incident to anyone. This intimidation tactic initially silenced her, compounding her trauma.

In a further shocking claim, the family has alleged that the accused shared objectionable photos and videos related to the incident on social media platforms. This alleged act of circulating sensitive content has added a digital dimension to the crime, which investigators are now working to verify.

Police Action and Ongoing Investigation

Once the family learned the truth, they immediately approached the Pali police and lodged a formal complaint. Acting on this report, the police registered a case on Sunday. The victim was taken for a medical examination at Bangad Hospital in Pali to gather crucial forensic evidence.

The young survivor is currently being provided with necessary medical care and professional counselling to help her cope with the psychological impact of the event. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ratanaram Devasi confirmed that a thorough investigation is now underway.

"The survivor is a minor. Whether the accused is an adult or a minor will be determined during the investigation, and legal action will follow accordingly," stated DSP Devasi. He emphasised that all allegations, including the serious claim about the circulation of photos and videos on social media, are being meticulously verified by the investigating team.

The case has sent shockwaves through the local community, raising serious concerns about the safety of children in educational institutions. The police have assured that the investigation will be pursued rigorously to ensure justice is served.
