Noida Woman Files Case Against Vet for Assault, Deceit on Marriage Promise
Noida woman accuses vet of assault, deceit on marriage pretext

A woman in Noida has taken legal action against a veterinary doctor, filing a formal complaint that details a harrowing tale of deception, sexual assault, and threats. The case, registered at the Sector 113 police station, accuses the doctor of luring her into a relationship with false promises of marriage while he was already married with a child.

Details of the Alleged Deception and Assault

In her complaint, the woman stated that she was in a relationship with the veterinarian from Sector 122 for over a year. Throughout this period, he allegedly continued to promise marriage, deliberately concealing his existing marital status. The woman claims she met the accused at a hospital and has preserved evidence of their conversations and incidents.

The situation escalated when she met the doctor's wife and brother. Instead of resolution, she was allegedly threatened and told to leave the city. The complainant also met the accused's parents, who reportedly insulted her. Following an alleged assault, the doctor fled to Gorakhpur, prompting the woman to finally approach the police in Sector 113.

A Cycle of Abuse and Threats

The narrative took a further grim turn in May, when, after police mediation, the doctor agreed to marry the woman and moved her into a rented apartment. However, she alleges that the physical assault and sexual exploitation continued for a long time afterward. She was also given sleeping pills that adversely affected her health.

The complainant revealed she became pregnant, but the accused allegedly administered medicine that caused a miscarriage. The trauma compounded when the doctor's brother-in-law physically assaulted her. The accused and his associates also threatened to leak her private videos online, adding emotional blackmail to her ordeal.

Legal Repercussions and Charges Filed

Based on her detailed complaint, the police have registered a case under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The charges are severe and specific:

  • Section 69: Criminalises sexual intercourse obtained through deceitful means.
  • Section 352: Pertains to intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace.
  • Section 115(2): Deals with voluntarily causing hurt.
  • Section 89: Addresses causing miscarriage without the woman's consent.

The case underscores serious allegations of predatory behavior, breach of trust, and violent crime, now awaiting a thorough police investigation.
