Double Murder in Jethouna Village
In the first case, a horrific double murder was reported from Jethouna village under the Khudaganj police station area on Tuesday night. The victims have been identified as 32-year-old Sanisha Devi and her 14-year-old daughter Sneha Kumari, who were found dead inside their home.
According to family members, the initial information suggested the victims were lying unconscious. However, when relatives arrived from Bela village in Gaya, they discovered both Sanisha and Sneha deceased. Soni Kumari, the deceased woman's sister, alleged that there was a strangulation mark around her sister's neck, while her niece had multiple injury marks around the neck area.
Police have taken the woman's husband, Sanjay Kumar, into custody as the primary suspect. Officials revealed that the accused is mentally unstable and was undergoing treatment at the time of the incident. Preliminary findings indicate that Sneha was strangled, while Sanisha died after her neck was allegedly twisted. Both victims died on the spot.
