Nagpur Stone Attack Leaves Two Men Critically Injured
In a shocking incident of violence, two unidentified assailants brutally attacked two men with stones near Khaparkheda in Nagpur late on Tuesday night. According to a complaint filed by Tanzeer Sheikh, a 28-year-old hotel owner from Koradi, he learned about the incident around 12:30 AM and immediately rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival, Sheikh found both victims unconscious and suffering from serious head injuries. Without delay, he arranged for their transportation to Mayo Hospital in Nagpur, where they received urgent medical attention. The quick response may have been crucial in stabilizing their conditions, though both remain in critical care.
Victims Identified, One in ICU
One of the injured men has been identified as Feroze Kumar Gulmar Sheikh, a resident of Uppalwadi. The other victim is Prashant Kumbhare, who is currently in the intensive care unit with severe injuries. Medical reports indicate that Kumbhare sustained significant head trauma, raising concerns about his long-term recovery.
The attackers fled the scene immediately after the assault, leaving no immediate clues behind. This has complicated the initial investigation, but authorities are determined to bring the culprits to justice.
