In a shocking incident in Nagpur, Sub-inspector Sachin Waklekar of the Kalamna police station sustained serious injuries after being stabbed by two assailants who fled with his motorcycle. The attack occurred near Dipti Signal late on Wednesday evening while Waklekar was on duty escorting a rally.

According to police sources, the incident began when two individuals on a motorcycle attempted to recklessly overtake the rally procession. Alerted by rally participants, Sub-inspector Waklekar intercepted the bike and instructed an accompanying home guard to take the riders to Kalamna police station for further questioning and potential action regarding their dangerous driving behavior.
While Waklekar was securing their motorcycle, one of the accused suddenly snatched the bike's keys and attempted to escape the scene.
