Three Perish in Muzaffarnagar House Fire
A horrific fire broke out on the second floor of a house in Muzaffarnagar's Vasundhara Residency locality on Monday, resulting in a tragic loss of life. The inferno claimed three members of a single family and left another with severe injuries.
Rescue Operation and Fatal Discoveries
Upon receiving the alert, fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot located under the Nai Mandi police station and immediately launched a rescue operation. During the grim search, they recovered three bodies from the burnt-out residence. The victims were identified as Amit Gaur (50), his brother Nitin Gaur (45), and their 68-year-old mother, Sushila. All three were residing on the second floor where the fire originated.
One individual managed to escape the blazing building but sustained serious burn injuries. This person was promptly shifted to a hospital for urgent medical treatment.
Cause of the Intense Blaze
ASP Satyanarayan Prajapat provided crucial details about the possible cause of the fire's intensity. He confirmed that two domestic LPG gas cylinders exploded within the house, significantly fueling the flames. Officials also recovered an 'angithi' or portable stove from the scene of the incident, which is being examined as part of the investigation.
The deceased Amit Gaur was employed as a kanoongo in Saharanpur, adding a layer of profound loss to the local community. The police continue to probe the exact sequence of events that led to this devastating accident in Muzaffarnagar.
