Mumbai: Man Booked for Dangerous Driving After Car Overturns

Mumbai: The Worli police on Wednesday booked a 20-year-old man for dangerous driving and endangering the life and safety of others, after the car he was driving allegedly at high speed overturned when the driver lost control. The accident occurred on the Coastal Road, resulting in injuries to two persons.

Accident Details

Police identified the accused driver as Manav Chandan. According to police sources, the incident took place on Tuesday at 11:40 pm. The accused, along with a few friends, was heading towards south Mumbai for sightseeing when the mishap happened. The car overturned, and some individuals sustained injuries. A police team arrived at the scene and transported the injured to a hospital.

Legal Action

A complaint was lodged by police constable Sachin Andhale. A case has been registered against the accused driver for dangerous driving causing injury to himself and others in the car, as well as endangering life and safety. An investigation is currently underway.
