Details of the Hombardi Village Tragedy
The victim has been identified as 40-year-old Manjunath Muddi, a resident of Hombardi village. The accused is his friend, Shivakumar Shivapura. According to police reports, the sequence of events began with the death of Manjunath's father, Rajendra, who succumbed to a heart attack.
After completing the funeral rites for his father, Manjunath was returning from the ceremony accompanied by Shivakumar. Police stated that the two friends consumed alcohol during their journey back home. What started as a somber journey soon turned violent.
The Fatal Argument and Alleged Murder
