Man Shot Dead in Jalandhar Village, Police Name Shooter
A young man lost his life in a shocking shooting incident in a village near Adampur, Jalandhar. The attack occurred on Friday, sending shockwaves through the local community.
Details of the Fatal Attack
Police reported that the victim, Kesar Singh Dhami, was only 26 years old. He was riding a motorcycle with two friends when the tragedy unfolded. The group was near Baba Bhag Singh University in Khiala village.
Another motorcycle suddenly intercepted them. The attackers on this bike allegedly rammed into Dhami's motorcycle to force it to stop. This caused all three riders to lose their balance and fall.
One of the men from the attacking motorcycle then fired shots at Dhami. The bullets struck him on the head, leading to his immediate death at the scene.
Police Identify the Shooter
Law enforcement officials quickly launched an investigation into the murder. They later identified the shooter as Jassa Daroli. Police confirmed that Daroli was accompanied by another individual named Chandan Pandit.
Chandan Pandit was riding the motorcycle used in the attack. The motive behind the shooting remains under active investigation by the police.
