The incident that shocked the Uttam Nagar locality occurred on April 23, 2019. According to officials, local residents alerted a police patrol team about a violent assault inside a house. Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered a horrifying sight.
Rajender Arora was found semi-conscious on a chair, while his mother, Lata Arora, lay on the floor in a pool of blood. Both victims were rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where doctors declared them dead on arrival.
Witness Testimony and Arrest
Eyewitnesses provided chilling accounts to the court. They stated that a bleeding Rajender had managed to run out of the flat, informing them that his elder brother, Sunil Arora, had stabbed him and their mother.
